Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has pulled senior Defense Department officials from the Aspen Security Conference this week, which was slapped for promoting the “evil of globalism,” Just the News reported.
The conference, which is scheduled to begin Tuesday in Colorado, is one of the most recognized national security events and is regularly attended by senior Pentagon leaders, top officials from the State Department and National Security Council and foreign defense leaders.
Chief Pentagon Spokesman Sean Parnell issued a statement saying, “Senior Department of Defense officials will no longer be participating at the Aspen Security Forum because their values do not align with the values of the DoD.”
